The Scotwaste Monarchs have decided to give local 19 year old rider💫 Andrew Tully his chance in the no. 7 berth of their 2007 side.

It's a chance Andrew has been begging to be given, after a successful multiple trophy-winni☂ng campaign with Conference League Scunthorpe in 2006.

In a way it's a fairytale story because Andrew (born in the Isle of Man, living in East Whitb🔜urn) has come right through from being official club mascot with the Monarchs in the late nineties.

Following that he rode with the Armadale Dale Devils side in 2003-5 and l🧜ast year was a key man in th🧜e Scunthorpe Scorpions team who won all the honours at Conference level. Tully averaged just under 8 for the Scorpions, getting better as the season went on and finishing up as top scorer in the Cup Final against Plymouth.

Monarchs' boss John Campbell says "Andrew wඣas begging us to give him the chance to r🧜ace for us and we are happy to do so.

"Although we initially considered more experienced riders such as Aidan Co🍃llins, we did that with some reservations as we do belꦬieve Andrew's time could be now. He is talented and very, very keen."

So there are three Scots in the 2007 side, and five differe💙nt nationalities in total.
