Wimbledon appoints new commercial manager.
Wimbledon Speedway have announced the i🤡mmediate appointment of Mick Hooker as i🧸ts new commercial manager.
Hooker has a wide knowledge of the speedway world, including many years at Speedway Star magazi🌳ne. His appointment completes the management team as the Dons move towards the opening meeting i🙈n May 2002.
"We are delighted to have someone ไof Mick's calibre and experience on board, and are confident that we can attract the support of local and national co൲mpanies, to what is one of the best venues for speedway in the world," co-promoter Steve Ribbons commented.
