Fred Makowiecki is to leave Aston Martin to b🍎ecome of Porsche's factory GT drivers for the 2014 season and beyond.

Makowiecki, a former winner of the Porsche Carrera Cup France, will jo𒉰in Porsche having impressed with Aston Martin Racing in the World Endurance Championship this season.

The 33-year-old has also been ♊a race winner with Honda in the Japanese Super GT series.

"Frederic Makowiecki is one of the fastest and most experienced GT pilots," Porsche Head of Motorsport Hartmut Kristen said. "He has a great deal of ♊experience on virtually all international race tracks and he knows precisely how to drive a Porsche 911 fast.

"I'm very muc𓂃h looking forward to worꦉking with him."

Makowiecki joins Jorg Bergmeister, Patrick Long, Marco Holzer, Patrick Pilet, Richard Lietz and Nick Tan🍰dy as a factory GT driver, with Michael Christensen having also moved up into the role for 2014.
