IMSA champion Nielson seals 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans drive
Two-time defending IMSA champion Christina Nielson will contest the 2018 24 Hours of Le Mans in a Porsche GTE with It𒉰alian squad Ebimotors.
Nielson, who became the first ever female Danish driver to compete at Le Mans in 2016 with Ferrari, will make her third straight appearance at the Circui🌃t de la Sarthe in a GTE Am Porsche 911 RSR alongside 2001 24 Hour♏s of Le Mans GT class winner Fabio Babini and a yet-to-be-announced third driver.

Nielson, who became the𒁃 first ever female Danish driver to compete at Le Mans in 2016 with Ferrari, will make her third straight appearance at the Circuit de la Sarthe in a GTE Am Porsche 911 RSR alongside 2001 24 Hours of Le Mans GT class winner Fabio Babini and a yet-to-be-announced third driver.
“I’m super happy to go back to Le Mans,” Nielsen said. “It’s one of those races that a driver dreams about doing at least once in their lifetime. Being able to say, at the age of 26, that I’m going to my third Le Mans is definitely prettyಌ amazi🐼ng.
“I’m excited to compete with the current mid-engine Porsche 911 RSR - that’s a 🦄first for me and definitely one of the biggest wishes that will come true.”
The 26-year-ol🐬d is part of Porsche Motorsport’s new programme where she is a ‘Selected Driver’ representing North America and the first woman in Porsche’s history to be officially associated with the factory racing programme.
