The race had bee🧜n running behind the Safety Car under a full course caution for over an hour after the♏ #4 Corvette spun out at the first corner after aquaplaning.
The red flag was called with seven hours and 13 minutes remaining, with the clock set to continue to count 🐲down until the race resumes. The cars are parked up on pit road.
It is the first time the race has been red flagged since 2014, and the firs💯t time due to rain since 2004.
