Making a slow sta💯rt, Wilson dropped several positions on the opening lap, but was able to charge back into contention.
"My car was been really competitive for the whole weekend and it felt really good," Wilson added. "But I didn't get off the line quickly and I dropped some spo♏ts at the start.
"Half way 🎀through the race we put on a new set of tyres and they were working beautifully and I could make some ground on tಌhe guys in front."
Finishing ꧃under safety car conditions, the race was red-flagged seven laps before full race distance as the searing heat gave way to a massive electric🤡al storm which left the circuit without power.
"It was really 🌞tough race and when the storm came I think stoppingಞ the race was the right thing for the officials to do."
