The new high-tech pits and race control complex will be the centrepiece of a $24 million dollar redevelopment project, bein🅷g funde𓄧d by the State and Federal Governments along with circuit owners Bathurst Regional Council.

The new high-tech pits and race control complex will be the centrepiece of a $24 million dolla🅺r redevelopment project, being funded by the State and Federal Govern🌊ments along with circuit owners Bathurst Regional Council.

Patrons of this year's Ultimate Showdown can become a part of history as the first me💧mbers of the general p﷽ublic to gaze upon the contemporary facility, that also boasts a state of the art control tower, new media centre and numerous corporate hospitality function areas.

"The behind the scenes operations of the Australian V8 Supercar teams are very professional under pressure-packed situations during the Bob Jane T-Marts 1000," IMG Director of Motorsport James O'Brien said. "To witness the processes involved in having these powerful machines performing at their optimum is a real 💎eye-opener andܫ one which can only be appreciated by incorporating paddock access as part of your Ultimate Showdown experience.

"The 15 by 8 metre individual pit bays represent a lay-out that will ensure all workings of each team will be easily visible. From preparing the vehicles, reviewing data, strategising a race plan a﷽nd even consultations between drivers and engineers, individuals♌ will gain a bird's eye view of the top V8 Supercar teams as they prepare for battle at Mount Panorama."

Following last weekends action-packed Betta Electrical 500, the hopes and desires of su﷽pporters from both the Holden and Ford camps will now hinge on their teams' ability to conquer Mount Panoℱrama during the race.

Holden will be shooting for an unprecedented six straight victories while Ford will hope to reproduce the form that saw them fill the podium in Melbourne last 🥃weekend.

"With the V8 Supercar Series now fully fixed on the Bob Jane T-Marts 1000 we're expecting the massiveᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ swell of interest among race fans to further intensify over the next three weeks," O'Brien said.

"To date the response has been truly remarkable with a significant uptake of grandstand and general ticketing. I think it would be fair☂ to say campgrounds have experienced their best ever record for pre-purchase sales in the 42 year history of the Ultimate Showdown, to a point where we now have contingency plans in place if we sell out. Rest assured anyone requiring campsite accommodation over the weekend will be guaranteed their place at the race."
