V8 Supercar owner-driver Jason Bright has taken the bold - if entirely understandable - decision to take his #25 Fujitsu Racing Ford to th🐎e crack Stone Brothers R♚acing operation in search of success in 2009.

Bright revealed that he was setting his sights on winning the 2009 title at the wheel of an SBR-prepared car on the eve of the series' annual trip to Bahrain, and confirmed that he would take key staff from his Britek Motorsport operation to SBR's Queensland base in an effort to create a thr꧒ee-car🀅 'superteam' to take on the likes of the Holden Racing Team, Triple Eight Race Engineering and Ford Performance Racing.

"This is the perfect opportunity to return to the pointy end of the field - and the timing for this merger has never been better," an enthusiastic Bright noted, "I've tried to push the Fujitsu Racing Falcon well into the top ten and have done so on a number of occasions, but, with a new car coming on stream and the changes in fuel technology, we s𝔍imply don💯't have the resources, or time, to research and develop what is needed to be competitive.

"Ross and Jimmy Stone have made great strides in these areas and already have a race-winning package, and I am delighted to be able to return to a team I enjoyed 𝓀so much success with when I first started my V8 Supercar career. I'm after my first V8 championship - starting right now."

A decision on the second, currently IRWIN-sponsored, Bri🐲tek entry will not be made until early December, but Bright admitted that the car would also benefit from the SBR꧙ alignment.
