Loeb breaks arm, out of Turkey.

World champion-elect Sebastien Loeb will miss the Rally of Turkey after breaking his arm while on a training ride in the run-up♏ to the event.

The Frenchman, who has been largely untouchable this season, is only six points away from a third consecutive world title, but will now almost certainly concede ground to main pursuer Marcus🎃 Gronholm.

"Loeb was ridཧi🎀ng a mountain bike when he fell and got injured," a Kronos team spokesman confirmed, revealing that the Frenchman will miss the 13th round of 16 this season.

Given the proximity of the following event, in Australia, it is concei♑vable that Loeb may be absent for two rounds, before returning in six week's time in New Zealand. The identity of his replacement has yet to be confirmed, with a pairing of Dani Sordo and Xavier Pons a possibility, unless Kronos and Citroen decide to blood a newcomer, such as Britain's Kris ✤Meeke.
