Andreas Aigner has said that he will just go for it on the Rally GB this weekend as he bids to try and overhau꧃l Juho Hanninen and wꦚin the 2008 P-WRC crown.

Aigner arrive🧸s for🔴 what is the eighth and final round in this year's Production Car World Rally Championship six points adrift and he is more than aware that he is on the backfoot.

Indeed he will have to at least finish on the rostrum in Wales if he is to stand any chance🔜 of beating his Finnish rival.

"There's nothing left to do for me but to go on ♎an all-out attack from the very start," said Andreas in the countdown to this weekend's event. "I'm probably going to need a bit of luck as well and when you put on the heat the risk is much increased. But as long as Hanninen is running there'll be no tactics this ti🅘me.

"Of course I'm at a disadvantage with Hanninen because he has a six-point lead and I haven't competed in a rally for quite a 🌠long tiꦏme - whereas he's match fit.

"Thꦉis could be seen in Japan recently, where he was way back in the early stages, but then clinched the win after all. That'♏s how he got into this very good starting position of his."

Red Bull Rallye Teಞam boss Raimund Baumschlager concurs that the situation isn't exactly ideal for them.

"Unfortunately, we're faced with exactly the situation we feared - Hanninen isಌ coming to Wales with a lead. Now the pressure is squarely upon us," he continued.

"We've taken every step possible in the run-up - we even squeezed in two days of test📖ing at short notice - to be best-prepared for the fight. But the ဣtask ahead is a very tough one."

Bernardo Sousa meanwhile will be in action in the sister Evo IX having recovered well from surgery on his shoulder: "We mustn't expect too much from Bernardo this time out. Afte൲r all, it ha﷽s been a very long break. His only guideline is to drive another steady rally," Baumschlager summed-up.
