Neuville avoids injury in crash off bridge
Thierry Neuville and co-drivꦇer Nicolas Gilsoul were fortunate to avoid injury after crashing off a bridge and into a river during a test for the upcoming World Rally Championship Corsica event.
The Hyundai squad were preparing for the next round of the 2018 WRC season, Tour de Corse, on the 5-8 April when Neuville’s i20 dropped off the road at a bridge near Linguizzetta, 50km south of the rall🐽y’s Bastia base.

According to reports on WRC.com, the accident occurred at the exit of a left corner before t🃏he bridge pass and sent the Hyundai un🐼derneath the bridge in a shallow section of river which heavy damage sustain to the car.
Hyundai co💃nfirmed both Neuville and Gilsoul were able to walk away from the incident but it prematurely cut short the one-day tesꦓt for the team.
Teammates Andreas Mikkelsen and Dani Sordo tested earlier in the week so Neuville’s shunt caused no further d𒐪isruption to the Korean manufa🐠cturer’s preparations.
