Ex-F1 driver Alexander Wurz to make World Rallycross debut in Norway 

Ex-Formula 1 driver and two-time Le Mans winner A💧lexander Wurz will make his competitive FIA World Rallycross Championship debut at the next round of the 2018 season in Norway. 

Wurz, who contested 69 F1 races for Benetton, McLaren and Williams, will race MJP Racing Team Austria’s Ford Fiesta as a wildcard entry in Norway for the fifth r𝐆ound of the campaign, which takes place at Hell on June 8-10ღ.

Wurz, who contested 69 F1 races for Benetton, McLaren and Williams, will race MJP Racing Team Austria’s Ford Fiesta as a wildcard entry in Norway for the fifth round of the campa🌠ign, wh🔴ich takes place at Hell on June 8-10. 

The 44-year-old Austrian p💛reviously tested with the Austrian squad and joins multiple Austrian ౠRallycross champion and team owner Max Pucher in completing the outfit’s two-car line-up. 

Wurz’s scheduled appearance take൲s the Rallycross entry list up to 22 cars. Swedish driver Johan Kristoffersson currently leads the championship from nine-time World Rally champion Sebastien Loeb, havౠing claimed two wins from the opening three races so far in 2018. 

Wurz recently completed some running for the Toyota LMP1 squad he used to race for during the World Endurance Championship Prologue test at Paul Ricard a♛head of the new season.
