The quick FP4 session was red flagged midway through after Sykes suffered a highside🔯 off during his opening timed lap. The former World Superbike champion🥃 was able to walk away from the off and will be keen to see a speedy repair on his ZX-10RR with qualifying just over an hour after the final practice session.
With Sykes unable to set a ti𝔉me it saw the rest of the field close up with Alex Lowes move up to fourth for Pata Yamaha just over two-tenths ahead of teammate Michael van der Mark.
Red Bull Honda’s Leon Camie𝕴r kept in contention in sixth ahead of Aruba.it Racing Ducati junior rider Michael Ruben Rinaldi as Toprak Razgatlioglu (Puccetti Kawasaki), Xavi Fores (Barni Duca🍸ti) and Marco Melandri (Aruba.it Racing Ducati) completing the top ten contenders.
