That pushed Michael van der Mark down to fifth place, with Eugene Laverty split✃ting the Pata Yamaha pair꧂ despite an early fall in FP2, as Alex Lowes was edged down to seventh place.
Marco Melandri recovered from effectively missing all of the morning session due to a technical issue for Aruba.it Racing Ducati to jump into the provisional Q2 ♏spots in eighth place ahead of team-mate Chaz Davies with Barni Ducati’s Xavi Fores rounding out the top ten despite failing to better his FP1 time.
Toprak Razgatlioglu narrowly missed out on the Q2 spots at the end of the second session for Puccetti Kawasaki in 11th place as he pushed Red Bull Honda’s Leon Camier do🍬wn a spot.
