Assen World Superbike race one cancelled by snow

Race one at Assen’s World Superbike round has been cancelleꦑd due t🦩o snow and cold conditions.

The Dutch circuit has been hit with very chilly weather with light snow arriving at Assen midway through World 🍷Supersport qualifying.

While World Superport 300 qualifying was completed on a damp track, organisers delayed the star𝐆🐼t of World Superbike race one due to the weather conditions.

With snow and rain continuing to threaten in the chilly conditions, race organisers opted to wait for the weather and temperatures to improꦅve.

Race one at Assen’s World Superbike rou♎nd has been cancelled due to snow and cold conditions.

The Dutch circuit has been hit with꧋ very chilly weather with light snow arriving at As😼sen midway through World Supersport qualifying.

While World Superport 300 qualifying wa🅘s completed on a damp track, organisers delayed the start of World Superbike race one due to the weather conditions.

With snow and rain continuing to threaten in the chilly conditions, race organisers opted to wait for the💫 wea𓄧ther and temperatures to improve.

After the start was delayed for 15 minutes, an initial starting ꦐgrid was attempted but heavy snow and rain returned which forced everyone back into the garages.

Pirelli has warned i🍸ts wet tyres need a minimum operating track temperature of 5 degrees to provide safe condit🀅ions to race.

Despite the rain relenting, which was joined with hailstones and snow, ꧂the track looks set to stay wet for the rest of the day in the cold temperatures which has led organisers to cancel race one and the rest of Saturday’s programme.

Organisers have confirmed a revised World Superbike race schedule for Sunday at Assen, wit𒁃h the sprint race cancelled and replaced by the full distance race 🐼one.
