Requiring a final check by medical staff to get the green light to race today, Lowes has nonetheless been fit and will now get a ꧙chance to fight for the podium again having been elevated to the front row for the second race of the weekend.

This has come at the expense of erst꧙while pole sitter Rea, who was demoted to the back of the grid as a punishment for causing the accident with Lowes.
