WorldSBK: Redding back in championship contention following double Navarra win

Scott Redding believes pressure is on championship rivals Jonathan Rea and Toprak Razgatlioglu, even though the Ducati rider has outscore💝d b𝕴oth men during the last two rounds.
Heading into Most (one round ago) Redding was over 80 points down on Rea, a gap that has been more than halved.&nꦬbsp;
Of course, Rea’s crash in the opening Czech race contributed to the significant points swing, 🔴however, the 2019 BSB champion hasn’t finished behind the Kawasaki rider in any of the last six races.
While Razgatlioglu has t✤aken three wins - the same number as Redding in those six races, the Ducati rider’s second place finishes in the races he didn’t win have also seen him outscore the Yamaha rider - now only 38 points behind both men.
But with that said, ‘pressure is on them, not me’ believes Redding as he’s the one chasinꩲg.
Speaking about th๊e title fight, Redding said: "Everyone was kind of writing me of🎐f basically, but that doesn’t bother me. I don’t care. If I win then great, if I don’t, I gave it my everything.
"It will be what it will be. I will just try my best every time I go out to try to maximise the situation. I just want🍌 t🍨o do it with a bit more ease.
"I need to stop forcing the situation and the pressure is on them. It’s not on me. Those two are worrying about e🙈ach other more than they’re worrying about me at the moment.
"I can only cause them trouble because I have a gap and I have to close the gap✅. If one of them makes a mistake, it puts them closer to me and then it’s harder for them.
"For me, I’m a race gap away basically so 🦩I need time to come back. But if I make a mistake, I wasn’t that close anyway.
"I’m quite relaxed at 🔯the moment. We will see. Keep putting the pressure on, keep trying to be consistent and consistency is key."
