Ondrej Jezek 🧸took victory in Sunday's Superstock 1000 round after a technical🐎 problem denied Lorenzo Savadori of a home win.
Savadori, beaten to pole by countryman Fabio Massei but fastest throughout free🤪 practice, dejectedly raised his hand and pulled into the pits due to a gear link🐬age problem on his Pedercini Kawasaki while leading after 8 of 14 laps.
That left Ondrej Jezek with a slim advantage over th🍌e fellow Ducati of Massei. The Czech rider just kept his Barni machine out of reach to claim his first ever SSTK win,♏ while Massei celebrated a debut podium.
Jezek's team-mate Leandro Mercado completed the podium and in doing so increased his titl♊e lead from three points over Savadori to seven points over Jezek.
Lanusse (Kawas🤪aki), Day (Honda) and Nemeth (Kawasaki) completed the top siඣx, while Briton Kyle Smith crossed the line in 16th after a fall.
