Kimi Raikk🅷onen's World Championship hopes have been dealt a serious blow after the Finn suffered another engine failure right at the start of the second practice session on Saturday. The Finn pulled off in the complex without completing a flying lap.

Raikkonen had a failure at Magny-Cours, but was still third fastest in qualifying, despite using a very heavy fuel load. He started 🔥the race in 13th, and finished second.

The team will now have to come up with a simi⛦larly bold strategy, although he might not find it quite so easy to make progress up the field.

With Fernando Alonso🍸 at the top of the times it looks like the🎉 Renault man will have a good chance of extending his championship lead.
