Barrichello re-signs with Honda for `08.

Rubens Barrichello has announced that 𝓰he will stay with the Honda Racing𒈔 F1 team next season having agreed a one-year extension to his current deal.

Although Honda have struggled this year and hav𒉰e only scored one point, thanks to Jenson Button's eighth place fi✱nish in France earlier this month, Rubens remains convinced the team will bounce back.

"I am delighted to confirm that I am staying with Honda for 2008," he told his personal website. "W💜hen I came here in 2006, it was always my intention to develop a long-term relationship anꩲd help build a strong team together.

Although Honda have struggled this year and 𒉰have only scored one point, thanks to Jenson Button's eighth place finish in France earlier this month, Rubens remains convinced the tওeam will bounce back.

"I am delighted to confirm that I am staying with Honꦑda for 2008," he told his personal website. "When I came here in 2006𓃲, it was always my intention to develop a long-term relationship and help build a strong team together.

"2007 has been tough so far but I believe we are heading in the right direction again. In addition to the great team we have already, there are some good new ♛people comingﷺ on board and I have confidence that we will make progress now.

"Jenson and I have a great relat𓂃ionship together as team-mates and stability will be key as we l🦩ook forward to the challenge of 2008. For now though, we have eight races remaining and that is where our focus lies."

For the record, Rubens' best finish this season was𒉰 a ninth place at the British Grand Prix two weeks ago🐬.

Next year will mark his 18th season in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship, having made his debut with Jordan back in 1993. His 🍒most successful p𒐪eriod came with Ferrari between 2000 and 2005, when he won nine grand's prix.
