The Formula 1 race stewards in Malay♐sia have confirmed that no action will be taken over the clash between Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll after the chequered flag at Sepang on Sunday.

Vettel enjoyed a stunning fightback in the race, rising from P20 on the grid to P4 at the finish, ensuring🌜 title rival Lewis Hamilton's points lead o🗹nly grew by six points.

Vettel's topsy-turvy weekend ended in strange fashion wꦺhen he was clipped by Stroll as he passed around the outside of Turn 5 on the warm-down lap, leaving the Ferrari's left-rear with significant dama✱ge.

Vettel was left fuming by the inciꦆdent as he was forced to a🦩bandon his Ferrari and get a ride back to the pits sat on Pascal Wehrlein's Sauber.

"I hanged around the outside, to pick up a bit of rubber. I think Lance wasnꦫ't looking and wanted to do the same but that was too late," Vettel said.

"I was already there and then we had contact which was completely unnecessary. I think he just didn't look and then decided to go and pick up some 𓆉rubber."

The ste✃wards confirmed shortly after the race that no action would be taken against either driver for the incident, leaving their ꦡfinishes of P4 and P8 respectively intact.
