Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing have jointly hosted the unveilinꦅg of the track-ready 🌃Valkyrie AMR Pro hypercar designed by Adrian Newey at the Geneva International Motor Show.
Last November the joint venture announced the track version of the Valkyrie as part of its partner🥀ship with the Formula 1 team with 25 track-only versions set to be produced in 2020 which are already sold out.
While the ultimate power and performance remain a guarded secret, the Valkyrie AMR Pro is quoted at producing the same level of downforce as its 1000kg weight equipped with a 6.5-litre naturally-aspirated V12 engine with 1100bhp output. Aston M꧙artin are confident the car will be able to reach a top speed of 225mph with the aim of matching F1 lap times around Silverstone.
“Seeing the Valky💙rie AMR Pro and this year’s Aston Martin Red Bull Racing F1TM show car together at Geneva is a s🎀pecial moment for me,” Adrian Newey, Red Bull Racing’s Chief Technical Officer, said.
“The Aston Martin Valkyrie road car draws extensively from the knowledge I have gained during my career in Formula One, but the AMR Pro version has allowed me to work beyond the constraints of 🌳road legality, or indeed practicality.
“We’ve told a few of its secrets, but by no means all. I will leave it to the public to ponder the lap tim💫e predictions. Suffice to say t🦩hey’re quite impressive.”
