Inheriting pole position from Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton who dropped to 11th on the grid after serving a grid penalty, Bo🤪ttas maintained the lead and dominated the race.

ཧThe Finn controlled the grand prix from the front, putting in consecutive fastest laps at the end of the race 🍃to pick up 26 points.

It was Bottas’ first win since Russia last year - over a year ago✱.

“I think that f🙈rom my side it’s probably one of the best races I’ve had ever,” Bottas said after the race.

“Apart from that little slide everything was under control, but like I said before the rac𓃲e the car has been really good in every condition, I had really good confidence with i𝄹t, could really control it. It’s not easy to choose the best strategy in these conditions, when to stop, for which tyre, but I’m glad everything went smooth for me, for once. That’s nice.”

Bottasꦫ had to overtake Charles Leclerc on track, who decided to stay out on his initial set of intermediates in a bid to win the race.

Despite taking a comfortable win, Bottas stre🌼ssed that it was far from eas♔y due to the conditions.

“You know, when there’s only one drying line it doesn’t need much for you to good off🌳, so I definitely needed to focus all through the race,” Bottas added.💯 “A difficult one, yes, but it feels like a well-earned victory.”

Bottas strengthened h💝is grip on third in the championship, moving 32 points clear of McLaren’s Lando Norris.
