Pourchaire dominates Monaco F2 feature race to become youngest-ever winner

Pourchaire’s vict♈ory in the principality makes him the 🉐youngest-ever race winner in the series’ history at just 17.
The Frenchman maintained the lead into Turn 1 ahead of Prema’s Robert Shwartzman and neverꦯ looked back from that moment onwa🍷rds.
Pourchaire stopped a lap later than Shwartzman - who suffered a slow stop - on Lap 30, to maintain the net lead, as Guanyu Zhou opted for a loꦚng first stint.
As Pourchaire ran away at the f🐬ront, it was a battle between the Premas and Dan Ticktum for the other two spots on the podium.
Shwartman’s slow pit stop meant he dropped to fifth, behind teammate Oscar Piastri, Dan Ticktum and Felipe Drugovich, who stopped early on the alternat🍨e strategy.
A decisive moment came on Lap 33 when Piast♈ri locked up his front-right tyre into the Swimming Pool section allowing Ticktum to challenge him for the position.
As Ticktum tried to go around the outsid🅺e of Rascasse, Piastri ran him out of room, forcing the Carlin ♔driver into the barriers.
The stewards deemed it to be a racing incident with Piastri maintaini𒅌ng second ahead of Drugovich, who was the star of the day, going from ninth to the podium.
Zhou’s long first stint 🌌allowed him to rejoi🐟n in third but poor tyre warm-up meant he dropped to fifth, taking the fastest lap on the final lap on his fresh tyres.
Ralph Bos💎chung continued his▨ encouraging weekend with sixth ahead of Liam Lawson.
Juri Vips’ five-second🤡 penalty for an incident with Marcus Armstrong proved to be inconsequential, ultimately classifying eighth.&nbs💯p;
Roy Nissany and Richard Verschoor completed the points-paying positions in niꦇnth aꦍnd tenth respectively.
