Felix Rosenqvist cleared for IndyCar return after Pocono crash
Chip Ganassi Racing's Felix Rosenqvist has receiv🌳ed medical clearance to race in this weekend's Bommarito Automotive Gr💜oup 500 at Gateway following his high-speed crash at Pocono on Sunday.

Chi𒉰p Ganassi Racing's Felix Rosenqvist has received medical clearance to race in this weekend's Bommarito Automotive Group 500 at Gateway following his high-speed crash at Pocono on Sunday.
Rosenqvist was▨ caught up in a five-car shunt at the start of the ABC Supply 500 at Pocono🐭 that resulted in his car being thrown up towards the catch fencing.
The Swedish drivꦡer was taken to a local hospital with "non-life threatening injuries" before being cleared later in the day, but still required a further medical clearance to race at Gateway this weekend.
How♕ever, this approval has now been received, ensuring Rosenqvist can take the start for the third-to-last race of the season.
"Following further medical examinations, Felix has been cleared by NTT I💙ndyCar Series to race in this weekend’s Bommarito Automotive Group 500 at Gateway," a short statement reads.
"The decision follows Sunday’s crash at Pocono."
"I am happy to b𒁏e cleared for racing this weekend and I look forward to getting back in the car at Gateway,” said Rosenqvist.
Rosenqvist currently sits ninth in the𓃲 drivers' standings with one pole and one podium finish to his name, leading the Rookie of the Year classification.
