Casey Stoner starts Sepang MotoGP test
Retired double MotoGP champion Cas𓃲ey Stoner began his latest private Honda test at Sepang on Thursday.
The Malaysian visit marks ꧑Stoner's first test outside of Japan since leaving MotoGP at the en𝔍d of 2012, at the age of 27. The Australian is expected to help with development of this year's RC213V as well as the 2016 Michelin tyres.
Stoner's fo⛦rmer Ducati and Honda crew chief Christian Gabbarini can be seen in the tweet below. Gabbarini will 🦹work with Stoner's countryman and MotoGP rookie Jack Miller this season.
The 20🍌15 MotoGP riders will hold their first official test of the year at Sepang from February 4-7. Stoner, back on track tomorrow, will take part in at least one further HRC test this year.
