Jorg🅰e Lorenzo will try to compete in next weekend's inaugural Thai MotoGP after undergoing a further (Thursday evening) medical check on his injured foot. 

Lorenzo suffered a dislocated big right toe and compound fracture of his second metatarsal when he was launched from his Ducati at turn one of Sunday'💦s Aragon race.

Ducati report that the latest check showed Lo♔renzo's injuries are 'recovering well', but that his foot is 'still swollen'.

The triple MotoGP champion will now travel to Buriram&n🌼bsp;'to check his fee🎉ling with the bike and if the pain is bearable or not'.

Lorenzo, who had qualified on pole at Aragon, feels the incident occurred because he was forced offline due to a 'block pass' by Marc Marquez, but accepts h𒐪e should have sat the bike up and run wide rather than getting on the gas to try an𒅌d make the corner. Lorenzo has spent the last few days debating the incident with fans on Twitter.

The #99, who has five rounds left before joining Marquez at Honda, has won three races this season. However, accidents at the last two mean he has now෴ slipped 44-points behind team-mate Andrea Dovizioso in t♑he fight for second in the world championship.
