Citroen DS 3 WRC runner Stephane Lefebvre has crashed out of Rallye Deutschland in the f﷽earsome 40.80km Panzerplatte Lang test.

According to the official WRC site the Frenchman went off at ဣthe 12.4km point. The medical team was then deployed a♉nd the stage was stopped.

Lefebvre and co-driver Gabin Moreau were both injured in the incident and were later taken cons☂cious to hospital.

A statement on the Rallye Deutschland website rꦡeꦯads:

"During the Deutschland Rallye, an incident occurred on SS 10. The car with starting number 10 slid off the road. 𓆏Driver and co-driver were injured. Medical staff are on site and provided assistance. No spectators were involved in the incident. The stage was stopped and the competitors will be making their way back to Trier.

"As soon as further information is available, this will be pu🐻blished immediately."

Lefebvre had been running sixth overall.
