Hyundai Motorsport GmbH has promoted former market﷽ing chief Scott Noh to the role of company president with immediate effect. 

Noh replaces outgoing president Gyoo-Heon Choi, who departs Hyundai after spearheading its motorsport operation for the past five years to take up a position with H🐓yundai Motor’s newly-established High Performance Vehicle & Motorsport Divis🅰ion in Korea.

Korean Noh will be tasked with overseeing “all areas of the company”, including Hyundai’s participation ꦐin the FIA World Rally Championship and Hyundai’s new motorsport driver development programme, launched in early 2017. 

The Korean boasts over 25 years experience of working inside the Hyundai organisation on a global scale and most recently acted as the compa﷽ny’s head of brand strategy.

“It is with great pride that I take on the role of President at Hyundai Motorsport following the str꧟ong foundations laid by my predecessor Mr. Choi over the past five years,” Noh said. 

“Motorsport plays an important role within the Hyundai organisation. It helps to change the public perception of our b💎rand internationally, while also enhancing engineering skills, which is of crucial importance in our mission 🎐to create high performance vehicles. 

“As a passionate motorsport fan, I am looking 🎃forward to helping the company to continue on its successful path in WRC and customer racing.”

Hyundai currently leads🌠 both WRC standings in 2018, following Thierry N꧙euville’s dominant victory at Rally Sweden last month.
