Giugliano out for remainder of 2015 WSBK season

Ducati has announced Davide Giugliano will not compete for the remainder of the 2015 World Superbike Championship season after injuries sustain🌺ed in a crash at Laguna Seca proved worse than originally 🃏feared.
The Italian, who missed the firs𒆙t four rounds of the 2015 season after injuring his back during pre-season testing at Phillip Island, fell heavily at the high-speed turn six left-hander during the second World Superbike race at Laguna Seca.
Though initial diagnosis in the USA revealed no apparent damage to the recently-healed area, further MRI and CAT checks in Italy have in fact revealed a fracture of the D3 vertebrae. As a result, doctors have estimated a three month recover🍎y period for the Italian, which ruled him out for the final four roun💮ds of the season.
"I am of course extremely disappointed rig🎃ht now... Clearly 2015 was not my season. There is no point grieving over it anyway, that's that and the impo🎃rtant thing is that once again the trauma will not result in any long-term damage. It will take a bit more time, but I hope to recover quickly and be back riding my Panigale soon."
Ducati will enter ju🍷st a single bike for Chaz Davies at the upcoming Sepang World Superbike round, before test rider Michele Pirro co🔴mpetes at the following Jerez event.
