Jonathan Rea has held on to top spot from Kawasaki teammate Tom Sykes as the pair pushed clear from the chasing pack w♏ith dry conditions returning to Donington Park.

After Friday practice was run in wet and mixed weather, the 20-minute FP4 session could act as the only representative practice World Superbike runners get before qualifying and the two races at the British circuit. Rea once again impressed by top🧸ping the session with his best lap just over one-tenth of a second quicker than Kawasaki teammate Sykes.

Pata Yamaha’s Alex Lowes led the ꦓrest of the runners with third pl🙈ace in the session but almost half a second off of Rea for outright lap time but did remain narrowly ahead of teammate Michael van der Mark.

Eugene Laverty continued his promising start at Donington Park with fifth place for Milwaukee Aprilia ahead of Chaz Davies who is bouncing bac♔k from a painful off sustained in FP3.

Puccetti Kawasaki r💫ider Leon Haslam claimed seventh on the times just in front of MV Agusta’s Jordi Torres who is looking to make up for lost time after missing almost all of FP3 with a🎀n engine issue. Toprak Razgatlioglu (Puccetti Kawasaki) and Leon Camier (Red Bull Honda) rounded out the top ten.
