WorldSBK Test: Davies ‘comfortable with every tyre’ used, fastest on day-one

Chaz Davies 🌠led the way on day-one of testing in Aragon as Ducati locked out the thre🔥e fastest times.
It was the factory team who led f๊or much of the day, with Scott Redding fastest during the morning session and Michael Ruben-Rinaldi for much of the af꧑ternoon.
However, with just under🐲 two hours left Davies swooped to the top of the leaderboard and remained there until the end as all three riders wer💫e separated by just +0.111s.
Davies made his debut wi🍒th the GoEleven Ducati team two weeks ago at the Official WorldSBK pre-season test in Barcelona, but has been shy on track action compared to others due to testing positive for Covid-19 last month.
Speaking after a very positive day, the Welshman said: "Today we tried a different b✤alance on the bike, and we find an intꦿeresting direction, but we just started the work.
"The feedback was quite positive, we compared the bikeꦦ to the one I used in the past two years here in Aragon.
"The best 🐷thing abou💖t today is that I feel quite comfortable with every tyre, and I felt good on the bike.
"It's a good ste🍸p forward compared to the Barcelona test, a couple of weeks ago. I think we have a good plan also for tomorrow and some other areas to start to explore!."
Davies has a brilliant record a❀t Aragon having taken seven wins which is the most at any one circuit for the 34 year-old.
Tr🍌ack action continues tomorrow for the second and final day of running.
