Biblion Motoxracing Yamaha confirms Maria Herrera for WorldSSP season

For the 2021 World▨SSP season Biblion Motoxracing Yamaha have moved to a new headꦕquarters in Fiano Romano, Italy, ahead of their second full season in the championship.
The team will once again field a Yamaha R6 bike, having also e♎njoyed success as a team in the previous two FIM Supersport 300 seasons.
While Herrera is still only twenty-four years-old, she has vast amounts of experience and is no stranger to the Supersport class. Herrera will take part in the WorldSSP challenge which features at all the European rounds of the series. This means she will co✱mpete in the first nine rounds of the championship.
Herrera has spent most of her career to date in the Grand Prix paddock after making here Moto3 debut for 𒆙KTM which came in 2013. Herrera competed in Moto3 until the end of the 2017 season before making the switch 💟to World Supersport 300.
In 2019, Herrera made the move up with Yamaha into the WorldSSP championship along with a full-time ride in the Inaugural MotoE World Cup. She took on the same commitments for the 2020 season, but with just the six Supersport race appea♋rances.
Herrera had her say on why she chose to join the Biblion Motoxracing team saying: “I chose this team because many people speak well of Sandro, the bike, the group and the potential they have. My main goal for this year is to do a great job and have fun by꧂ going fast.”
Team principal Sandro Carusi also shared his thought♐s on the move: “I am very happy to be able to announce Biblion Motoxracing Yama♛ha’s participation in the WorldSSP class with Maria Herrera.
"Having the only woman in t⛄he championship, who is a huge talent, gives us the opportunity to demonstrate the level we have reached. I'm sure it will be a strong incentive for all ღof us.”
With the team already giving young riders the opportunity to showcase their ability in the Supersport 300 class, it comes as&nbs💛p;no suꦰrprise that Yamaha Motor Europe Road Racing Manager, Andrea Dosoli is excited by the team's prospects:
